Homecoming

The Homecoming Gathering, a key component in our vision to strategically impact the nations, is a two-week retreat for missionaries serving in nations where there are very few believers and little to no church presence. These missionaries are giving their lives to share Jesus, His love and His teachings with those who have not yet or who have only recently met Him. They have few opportunities to receive refreshing, encouragement, and strengthening for themselves in the ways that those of us who are part of a local church can. We believe that it is God’s heart for them to thrive in the places to which He has called them to be and that we as their wider family can play a key part in supporting them.

The Homecoming Gathering offers them a place in which they can step out of their ministries for two weeks to rest, reflect and connect afresh with God, themselves, and others who are ministering in similar situations. It is informal, like a big family gathering together, with times of worship, prayer, teaching, sharing, and receiving personal ministry. The goal is for participants to leave refreshed and re-envisioned for their life and ministry in the nations where they are working and to have a greater sense of belonging to a larger family.
