Do you want to experience more LIFE as you read the Bible?

Come for a day of exploring the life of the Spirit through engaging with Scripture!

The SWS open day will help you develop a life that is ROOTED from the place of intimacy, as you learn how to draw from the Bible and the life of the Spirit. This informative and engaging day will include worship, prayer, teaching on Bible study tools, and small group discussion.

Spend the day with Yolanda Oosthuizen, Mariette Louw, and many more teachers and students from around the world that are participating in the six week School of the Word and Spirit.

The School of the Word and Spirit Open Day will be held at the YWAM Seamill Missionary Training Centre on the beautiful west coast of Scotland. Our vision is to equip and release radical world changers to strategically impact Scotland and the nations. Every year people come to Seamill from around the world to draw nearer to God and be equipped with practical skills to share His love. Seamill is a vibrant discipling community, with a clear sense of fellowship and family.

About the Course: Go deeper in your relationship with Father God through a six week encounter with the Word and the Spirit!

SWS Purpose

The purpose of this course is to strengthen the student’s relationship with Father God through the Holy Spirit and the Word (Jesus). We will achieve this through modelling reliance on the Holy Spirit in learning how to rightly handle God’s written revelation, the Bible.

The student will develop an overall understanding of the message of the Bible and learn how to develop skills that will serve a lifetime of Bible reading, memorization, meditation and study. A reverence for God’s revelation and a hunger to understand and apply the Scriptures through study, worship, prayer and obedience will result in the transformation of beliefs, values and behaviours.

The essence of this school is about the inseparable relationship of the Word and the Spirit in the process of growing into maturity.

Psalm 1vs1-3..Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
